Vroom vrooooooom...
It's always good to have a full weekend off from work. This weekend is one of them. Plenty of time to sleep in, and woke up in time to meet my friends for a game of Go Karting at Ace Karts (http://www.acekarts.com.au). The race consisted of 10 minute time qualifiers and then a15 minute race. Sounds short, but it's tiring to keep driving for 25 odd minutes.
This is us on the way out to our karts. Those little modified lawn mowers can reach top speed of 80 km/h, although the track limits to about 60. Probably Ace Karts is the best you could find around Melbourne, with weight distribution of kart and traction close to a real car. Also, you can get computerised individualised time analysis.
Us having final safety checks in place and waiting for track to be cleared.
Simon is bored of waiting... And what was I looking at???
The fight has begun...
Once again, Team Hong Kong has proven that they are much more aggressive drivers than Malaysian counterparts. 1st Danny Cheung (HK), 2nd Hogan Chen (TWN), 3rd Simon Sung (HK). Congratulations guys!!!

So our day ended after a series of crashes and spin- outs with a yummy dinner at Footscray and cakes in city. I am having sore shoulders and arms now... ouch...
NB: Thank you Cherlynn for all the photos during the race =)
