Ze Great Ocean Road Trip

With nice weather prevailing, I decided to latch onto ze Great Ocean Road Trip with ze German medical students and two other friends...
I have been in Australia for 8 and a half years and I have never seen the 12 apostles (postcards not counted)! So I was pretty excited by the prospect of great photo opportunity...

Here is the travelling party at Torquay - Eunice, Tina and Froddo... In 80% of photos, Eunice looks sleepy. And this is the opportune one in which she managed to keep her eyes open (just enough). Too much late night partying Eunice! Tina and Froddo (Florian) were German students on elective program at the Wodonga Hospital... I didn't know what they learned during their 4 weeks of rotation there but they did manage to travel around Australia on the wrong side of the road! (Oh stop complaining Froddo! It is the Germans who travel on the wrong side, you weirdos)... And they also managed to give us a taste of October Fest... Prost Jagermeister!

And then there were us... the hungry monkeys, Atul and I...

Those were the innocent days for Atul who just arrived from India and thought that Wodonga was the greatest place on earth till we introduced him to Melbourne... Now at every chance, he would get his bum away from Wodonga... Ignorance is a real bliss, isn't it?!

The 12... HANG ON!... 8... No no no... 7.5 Apostles... One has had below knee amputation...

If you have been to the 12 apostles, you probably should ask for a refund from your tour agency. You have been conned!

This is the tree top trail at the ?Port Campbell National Park... Amazing views from 30 m above ground level at per with tree canopies!
Stairway to heaven... Get down! Children not allowed!!!

The trip exploded with a nice dinner at Warnambool, an overnight stay at Port Fairy, a walk in the national park, and ended with a yummy steamed fish and Chinese dinner at Sung's Kitchen back in Melbourne...
