Been browsing through all my photos and this one stands out as my favourite...

This was taken at the Singapore Zoo. We were in a biodome when a butterfly suddenly landed on my unsuspected cousin's head. She freaked out, but realising the sudden opportunity, I told her not to move, took my camera, quickly adjusted the settings and snapped...

It's not a perfect photo in every aspect - composition, lighting and background are far from being balanced. But it definitely deserves the favourite photo status, given its spur of the moment inspiration and technical difficulties of the shot. I like it coz it captures nicely the gracefulness and tranquility of the little butterfly, oblivious to my cousin who was freaking out under its tiny feet...
